(1) | Pool Opening

  • Opening chemical kit – 5lbs. chlorine shock, 6 lbs of DE filter powder & algaecide ($65 value included)

  • Filter opened up, cleaned, and inspected

  • Removal of pool safety cover and pop-up anchors, or tarp and water bags, cinderblocks, etc.

  • Pool system inspection and start-up

  • Pool is treated with an initial shock and additional necessary chemicals - company chemicals are available for purchase if customer is unable to provide

  • Re-instillation of jets, skimmer baskets, ladders, handrails, backwash hose, etc.

  • Setting schedule for pool system (8am-8pm unless requested otherwise) and pool cleaner if applicable (12pm-3pm unless requested otherwise)

(1) | Pool Closing

  • Pool Winterizing Chemical Kit ($100 value)

    • 1 - 4lb Tablet Floater w/ patented borate oxidizers & enzymes o Borate will help control algae growth, stabilize ph and reduce corrosion.

    • 1 quart Stain & Scale Control o A stain and scale preventer, which will help control staining and the reduction of calcium deposits.

    • 1 gal Powerful Winterizing Algaecide o A quality algaecide to reduce the growth of algae.

  • Filter opened up, cleaned, and inspected for broken parts

  • Draining filtration equipment and winterizing plumbing lines with blower and winter plugs (plugs not included but are available for purchase

  • Lowering water level 1” below the tile line to ensure surface water does not expand and crack tile

  • Shutting off pool circuit breakers to prevent system from running dry and drawing unwanted electric

  • Organizing pool equipment neatly on pool deck unless otherwise instructed where to store it for the winter

  • Screwing brass anchors up and installing safety cover or tarp cover

  • Ensuring solid cover has a functional cover pump to remove rain water, or that pools with a mesh cover have a pump strategically placed on the steps to prevent rain water from reaching the tile. Pumps are not included but are available for sale

(20) | Valet

  • Skimming the surface of the pool, vacuuming the pool floor, and emptying of skimmer, automatic vacuum, and pump baskets

  • Backwashing the pool filter prior to and after vacuuming – 1lb-3lbs of DE added to filter after backwashing based on pool technicians suggestion

  • Pool water chemistry levels recorded and reported to customer including chlorine (ppm), total alkalinity (ppm), calcium hardness (ppm), cyanuric acid (ppm), and pH​

    • SEASONAL CHEMICALS INDLUDED FOR ALL 20 VALETS - if all valets are used before the end of the season, additional valets and chemicals may be purchased

  • Inspection and any necessary maintenance of pool equipment

(3) | Service Calls

A visit to resolve any unexpected issues that may arise with your pool or pool equipment. The issue will be properly diagnosed and repaired if the necessary work will not exceed 1 hr. If the necessary work exceeds 1 hr the customer may be billed an additional $100 with their consent. Any parts necessary for repairs are not included and will be billed to the customer with their consent.

(3) | Winter Watch Visits

Includes up to (3) visits over the winter months to check both cover and pool water levels, automatic covers pumps, and overall safety of the pool. This service also includes algaecide treatments prior to opening the pool for the spring to proactively reduce algae growth. Once pools are closed, and the pool season is over, any service calls over the winter cannot be promised to be performed in a timely manner without winter watch.

(1) Pool Deck Power Wash

It is suggested to have your pool deck power washed annually after the pool is opened to remove stains that build up over the winter and to prevent unattended dirt, grime, and build up from deteriorating the deck’s surface over time. We will carefully power wash your pool deck to remove bird droppings, food, grease stains, leaf stains, and any other marks left by foot traffic and/or pool deck furniture. This service only includes the pool deck; any additional walkways or decks/patios not included. This service includes up to 2 hours of labor, anything over the allotted time will be billed $100 to the customer with their consent.

Seasonal Chemicals

  • Opening, closing, weekly valet, & winter watch chemicals - Chlorine, alkalinity, muriatic acid, salt, DE filter powder, pH plus, pH minus, stain & scale, algaecides, and phosphate removers

  • Weekly seasonal chemicals expire after the 20th and final valet. Additional valets and chemicals are available for purchase.
